Rock Band 2

Harmonix hat heute Rock Band 2 offiziell angekündigt. In einem Interview auf IGN erfährt man die ersten Details über das Spiel. Der Titel soll im September für die XBOX360 erscheinen, angeblich auch zeitgleich in Europa. Eine Version für die PlayStation3 ist für das Ende des Jahres geplant, über Umsetzungen für andere Systeme ist bisher nicht bekannt.

Die wichtigste Nachricht ist wohl das man alle Downloadsongs auch im zweiten Teil nutzen können wird. Weitere wichtige Details wollte Harmonix noch nicht bekanntgeben, es wurde aber bestätigt dass das Spiel Partytauglicher werden soll und das es neue Instrumente geben gibt, welche von der Funktionalität ähnlich sind aber qualitativ über den bisherigen liegen sollen. IGN veröffentlichte bereits ein Bild von der neuen Gitarre.

Im Spiel selbst scheint sich nicht so viel getan zu haben, der erste in-game Screenshot unterscheidet sich kaum vom ersten Teil. Weitere Details sollen auf der E3 mitte Juli bekanntgegeben werden.

Mit Einschränkungen ja. Zum einen gab es Songs die nur in den neun Versionen funktionierten und zum anderen musste man immer mit der niedrigsten möglichen Versionsnummer herunterladen, sonst waren die Titel nur in dem Spile nutzbar mit dem man sie heruntergeladen hat (oder neuern Versionen)...verdammt ist das kompliziert

Beispiel:
Für Teil 1 gab es die Songpacks 1-6, für Teil zwei die Songpacks 1-12. Hatte man jetzt mit Teil zwei Songpack 2 heruntergeladen konnte man das auch nur noch im zweiten Teil nutzen, hat man es mit Teil 1 heruntergeladen konnte man es in Teil 1 und 2 nutzen.

Kotaku sind zwei Songlisten von Rock Band 2 in die Hand gefallen, zur zhweiteren gab es wohl die Anmerkung dass einige der Songs wohl DLC sein sollen. Neben den Songlisten gibt es noch folgende Zusatzinfos:

Besitzer von RB1 sollen die möglichkeit haben alle Songs des ersten Teils kostenlos herunterladen zu können um sie in Teil 2 zu spielen, alle kostenpflichten downloads von Teil 1 können ebenfalls in Teil 2 verwendet werden.
