ich hatte gehoft das sich mal nach meinen 3 monaten abwesenheit da was getan hab, aber, nix...
find ich traurig, da mir das programm einfach viel besser gefällt als das grafisch und auswahlmenü überlastete stepmania
ob das DWI update von v2,5 auf v3 noch kommt?
was denkt ihr?

Bei DWI hat sich glaube ich seit über einem Jahr nichts mehr getan... vielleicht sogar noch länger.
Wir können lso nicht erwarten, dass sich da was in den nächsten Monaten tut.
Ich glaube persönlich, dass das DWI Projekt gestorben ist.
Es wäre nämlich eine Heidenarbeit, technisch und leistungsmäßig auf den Stand von Stepmania zu kommen, geschweige denn mehr Features zu bieten.
Ich habe mit DWI angefangen, bevor ich dann irgendwann zu Stepmania gewechselt bin. Hoffen wir mal, dass sich bei DWI noch irgendwas tut, obwohl es sehr unwahrscheinlich ist.

Ich bin auch DWI Fan, wenn auch gezwungener Maßen weil Stepmania bei mir nicht ohne Skips läuft. Zum Update: eigentlich ist es ja nicht nötig weil v2.5 wie ne 1 läuft. DWI 3.0 soll aber kommen, wird aber kein Update sondern komplett neu programmiert.
Im DDRManiaX Forum gibt es ja einen Thread zum aktuellen Stand.

The new graphics engine IS done, and it can do some very nifty shit. Sim has some graphics work done as well, and there should be lots of fun to be had by people who do skins later on; skins won't be supported right away in version 3.0a but they will be soon afterwards, we just want to make sure everything else works before we start getting into the extra stuff. I have a couple more ideas but I'm not telling anybody about them yet.
As far as a release date goes, we aren't able to give you one just yet. If we did give one we might just end up moving it if things don't go to plan (can you say "Half Life 2", boys and girls?) Hmm, then again I'm tempted to give a date just to light a fire under Sim's butt, but that would be irresponsible of me. Sim really is an "Army of One" on this project, but I help out where I can.
Sorry I can't be any more specific than that, LAin dude. This is all I've got for ya right now. If you really really need marvellous timing for practicing then I suggest you manually tighten up your Perfect window to be only as long as Marvellous is. Then tighten up everything else to match."

Also ich halte sowiso eher zu Stepmania... DWI kommt mir immer so alt-technisch vor... es startet irgendwie so wie in DOS und gefällt mir grafisch nicht so, irgendwie sieht alles so fade aus.
Ausserdem find ich Stepmania mit seinen vielen extras und so weiter viel spannender und abwechslungsreicher... und ich hab irgendwie auch das Gefühl, Stepmania läuft DWI vorraus...
