FuturMax hat neues Metalpad im angebot

Habe heute eine Nachricht von FuturMax erhalten. Sie haben ein neues MetalPad mit 'Arcade Sensoren' und 12 mm dicken plexiglas platten und licht (zu mindest manche). Durch eine Fabrikations fehler sind die Matten nicht für einen Holzboden geeignet da sie scharfe kannten unten haben. Auf Tepich soll es laut der seite gehen. Sie sollen sond 298 Eur kosten und die fehl Produktionen gehen für 149 bis 169 Eur weg.

Das gleiche Angebot habe ich auch erhalten.
Hat jemand Erfahrung mit den "BlueMax"-Matten?
Spiele im Moment mit dem Gedanken mir so eine zuzulegen, da mein rechter Pfeil (schon wieder) mal den Geist aufgibt. Auch ein Austausch des Pfeils hat nicht geholfen. Er bleibt einfach manchmal stecken, obwohl ich schon einiges ausprobiert habe.

Das Pad ist von MyMyBox und heißt eigentlich Blueshark.

Die Pfeile basieren auf Arcade-ähnlicher Elektronik, soweit ich weiß wurden die Mikroschalter nachgebaut und sind sogar kompatibel zu "echten" Automatenteilen. Natürlich ist das Ganze in etwa so gebaut, das man ein TX-Style Pad hernimmt und statt der Alufolie (nur) zwei Schalter in die Mitte (!) klebt. Die Variante von Amegon mit den Tastaturschaltern funktioniert denk ich mal besser, ist aber vielleicht nicht so "arcademäßig"?



Leider konnte ich das auch noch nicht ausprobieren. Sollen wir uns mal um ein Testmuster bemühen?

Das Pad ist von MyMyBox und heißt eigentlich Blueshark.

Es scheint auf dem Blueshark zu basieren, allerdings sitzen die Schalter bei dem von Futuremax an der Seite (natürlich nicht auf der Innenkante, auf die jeder erfahrene Spieler steppt, sehr geschickt...) und es hat ja auch eine Beleuchtung. Naja, mal abwarten wie es in der Praxis ist.

Zumindest kann man aufgrund der Pfeildicke davon ausgehen, dass die Pfeile nicht mehr brechen werden.

Wie man im Video sehen kann, ist die Bar immernoch wacklig.

habe mir gerade mal eine BlueMax bestellt. Falls ich darf, gebe ich gerne meine Erfahrungen damit weiter an die Community (weiß ja nicht, ob dazu nur bestimmte Personen berechtigt sind). Für Bewertungskriterien stehe ich gerne via PM zur Verfügung, auch wenn ich die nächste Woche weniger im Netz bin.

Ichd achte, ich tue mal meine Erfahrung mit dem BlueMax von futuremax kund.
Also, ich besitze bereits die TX6000 und 4000 und bin daher gutes gewöhnt, aber die Platte ist echt mies:

Kurz gesagt:
Man muss die Platte selbst modden, sonst ist sie nahezu unspielbar und beinahe nicht funktionstüchtig.

Hier eine e-mail von mir, die ich futuremax zukommen ließ:

from the one I saw on your website, other colors and stuff.
I thought it looked much better than the one I saw on the site and was happy

Okay, you told something about the bottom issues, but this is not the point
I am writing now..

Something is funny:
The pad doesn't really work at all.
The X-buttom doesn't show ANY functionality, all the other buttons are hard
to push, MUCH harder than on my other dance pads, the TX6000 and the TX4000
and make more tha just some noise.
They are really loud.
I already played on many pads and even some times on some original Dance
Dance Revolution arcade machines, but I think that it's not the fault of the
pad in generaly, I guess the pad I got is some kind of broken.
The arrows aren't really in the pad, some of them are wegging/bouncing all
the time and make a very loud noise by pressing on them and especially by
releasing the buttons.
Is this normal or could it be that the pad is not okay?
What should I do?
I guess I really need help with it.
Can it be that I got some other pad than the one I ordered or that the
company who gave you the pads were in a hurry and did some mistakes with the
pad on accident?

I really need a quick answer.

Ich habe auch schnell eine Antwort bekommen.
Sie sah folgendermaßen aus:

Glad to hear the pad has arrived ..

It indeed seems the shipping center has send you the version without lights
..
I am very sorry for this .. I happened during my holiday .. though is off
course still my responsibility.
The version with lights was very very limited and is sold out right now.

Regarding the loudness of the buttons ..
Indeed I totaly agree .. Though this is also the case with the USA BlueShark
models (check youtube for some loud movies).
Though I agree this is not how it should be.

The problem is caused by the fact there is too much space between the arrows
and the brackets holding the arrows
Meaning you need to press the arrows harder and deeper to make contact.

This space is not realy necesary and can be fixed very easy.
Though it might need some tweaking to find the perfect fix.

I have placed some tape underneath the brackets .. so the arrow will stay a
bit deeper.
Actualy the arrows will then stay right on top of the sensor
and you only need to use a very light press (even with your finger tips) to
activate the sensor.

I am working on a manual with details and pictures
which I can mail to you once available.

Please understand that this model might need some tweaking by yourselve to
make it perfect.
Though the tweaked version I have over here really plays awasome

Also I will sure offer you a refund for the difference between the version
with light and the one you got.
And secondly .. if you don't want or can tweak I will offer you a full
refund
Just repack the pad in it's orignal packaging and I will arrange it to be
picked up
.. no problem.

Vielen Dank für die Informationen, Shadowhunter. Eigentlich ist es nicht nett, eine persönliche Email eines anderen ungefragt öffentlich komplett zu zitieren, aber ich denke Herr Meirink wird in diesem Fall nichts dagegen haben.

Die Antwort ist imho mal wieder typisch für Futuremax - sehr schnell, sehr nett, sehr kompetent und entgegenkommend. Es ist ja nichts ungewöhnliches, dass man Metalpads (oder andere Musikspielcontroller) modded, damit sie besser funktionieren. Natürlich ist es nicht schön, wenn das Pad sehr laut und sehr schwergängig ist - aber das ist ja scheinbar bei dieser Art Pad üblich.

Entscheidest du dich fürs Modden? Dann wäre es nett, wenn du deine Erfolge hier mitteilst, damit andere wissen was sie tun müssen. Die Anleitung von Futuremax wäre natürlich auch interessant.

Was ist mit dem X-Button los? Funktioniert er nicht am PC oder an der Konsole? Bei welchem Spiel?
